Smarter Selling with Zoho CRM: New Tools to Organize, Score, and Prioritize Data

Zoho CRM continues to evolve, delivering new tools that make it easier to segment, qualify, and prioritize your data; so your sales team can work smarter, not harder. Whether you’re managing high volumes of leads or juggling multiple pipelines, these features are designed to boost productivity and visibility without requiring complex configuration.

Below, we highlight five key updates in the CRM’s latest interface.

Split View for Zoho CRM: Segment Your Data with Ease

Zoho has introduced Split View, alongside other new module views, including Chart, Timeline, and Grid View. Split View enables users to divide records in a module into multiple side-by-side tables, based on picklist fields, users, or custom criteria.

What You Can Do:

  • View and manage multiple data segments on one screen

  • Reorder, edit, or delete split segments

  • View data as charts for visual insights

  • Create new records (in specific scenarios) right from the split

  • Choose how many records to show per split

Example Use Case:

A sales manager wants to segment accounts by revenue tiers (Low, Medium, High). Split View enables quick sorting and visibility, making it easier to tailor follow-up and prioritize deals by value.

Benefits:

  • Streamlined Navigation: No need to toggle between views or filters

  • Informed Decisions: Easily compare and act on grouped data

  • Improved Productivity: Simultaneous access to multiple views

  • Customizable Layout: Flexible enough to meet team needs

Note: Split View is only available in list view for supported modules using the new CRM UI.

Advanced Scoring Rules: Smarter Lead Qualification with Zia

Scoring Rules in Zoho CRM have been enhanced to support both Manual Scores and Zia Scores within a unified experience. This helps teams better assess records based on behaviors, demographics, and AI-powered insights.

What’s New:

  • Expanded scoring conditions and data channels

  • New VoC (Voice of the Customer) scoring through surveys, emails, phone calls, and more

  • Time-based scoring (e.g., “Add 10 points for calls in the last 20 days”)

  • Zia Score Types:

    • Field attribute score

    • Conversion score

    • Engagement score

    • Follow-up score

    • Health score

Zia now incorporates real-time activity signals and historical data to help predict engagement, identify high-potential leads, and even flag at-risk customers.

Keep in Mind:

  • Scoring rules only apply to enabled integrations

  • Zia scores require training data and only apply to edited or new records

  • Limits: 5 rules (Enterprise), 10 rules (Ultimate)

Empowered Custom Views: Now with Cross-Module Criteria

Custom Views have long been a powerful way to organize your CRM records. Now, they’re even better, supporting filters from related modules and subforms.

You Can Now:

  • Filter Contacts based on Deals (e.g., stage, activity history)

  • Show Sales Orders with specific product types or quantities

  • Save and share views for team-wide access

Example: View contacts with deals in a particular stage or those with no recent activity, all in one list.

This enhancement introduces a new level of flexibility for CRM users who require more nuanced and actionable lists. This enhancement is not available for all accounts yet, it is being rolled out in phases.

Rich Text Notes: Better Formatting, Better Collaboration

Zoho CRM now supports Rich Text formatting in Notes, making it easier to organize internal updates and client insights.

Use bold, italics, bullet points, colors, hyperlinks, and more across all modules that support Notes (including the mobile app). This update enhances the capture and consumption of information across teams.

Coming soon: Replies, Reactions, and Pinning to keep the most essential notes at the forefront.
